| What
are avatars? Avatars are little icons/pictures that appear to the left hand side under your username when you post a message on the NeoBoards.. How do you add them to your username? (or see which ones you have) Click on the NeoBoards link in the left side navagation on the Neopets site, at the top of that page, click on 'chat preferences'... find the avatar you wish to use in the drop-down menu (special avatars are listed beneath the default avatars). Once you've chosen the avatar you want to use, click 'submit' at the bottom of the page. How do you get the special avatars? It all depends on the avatars, some require you to get a high score in a certain game, beat a particular battledome challenger, solve a puzzle etc. Some are also affected by what items you are carrying and the pages you visit regularly. The best thing to do is just explore the site and try your hand at everything, you are bound to find some new avatars on your journey.... or.... you can simply follow the links and/or directions below. :) |
