- Your Complete Guide to Neggs -

Most Neggs in Neopia can be exchanged for Negg Tokens, but some cannot. A Negg Token isn't an item that you carry, they are the 'worth' of the Negg you have. Negg Tokens are the "currency" of choice for the Negg Faerie, who runs the Neggery. She exchanges Negg Tokens for your Neggs for Special Neggs that can only be received by trading with the Negg Faerie. The more Negg Tokens you have, the more you can spend on better neggs.

Basic Neggs and certain special Neggs can be attained in places other than at the Neggery though. Sometimes you'll 'find' them on the ground as a random event. Some can be 'created' at the cooking pot while others can be purchased in Neopian shops and the user shops as well.

There are also Neggs that when eaten by your pet will raise their stats and other can be used as weapons in the Battle Dome.
