What if – I Drown in My Tears 

What if I drown in these tears I shed?
or what if I can’t shake the fears in my head?

What if while I’m away, you find somebody new?
And what if you start to like her
and meet for rendezvous?

What if romance begins to grow
and you start to see in her,
something different than my love
My heart would break for sure.

What if I’m not looking
when she whispers in your ear.
And what if she says she loves you,
and you say it back to her?

What if we don’t last forever
or our love starts growing dim?
What if my tears start falling
and if I forget to swim?

What if I can’t hold on to you
as my soul mate and true love
What if I cried a million more tears

And drowned without your love?
